Russia is Ready for New Business

When somebody challenges a great idea, he needs to be initially motivated by either a specific target or his unwillingness to accept the situation as it is. In the case of the Business Alliance IBA project, we have both. Representatives of several major companies that are working in the sphere of intellectual business solutions more commonly known as consultancy business decided to combine their forces. Firstly, it is an attempt to change an awful situation on Russian consultancy market that is corrupted by damping, 'sponsored' valuations, payoffs and other corruption schemes that are so widely used by many market players in their chase for new contracts. Secondly, it is an attempt to build up a new business community that will be based on self-respect, high corporate responsibility, transparency and business ethics. It will be a community where success is not measured by the false ratings of companies' turnovers that many times all together exceed real market capacity. It will be a community without tender proposals that offer free services and three-day deadlines for assignments that require top qualifications and professional procedures with specific terms and time-limits.

No profanation of business activity but real business activity with due competence, responsibility and efficiency should comprise the reputation index of a company and rank its position in the market hierarchy. These are the components that indicate early development of civilized business with consistent and clear rules and principles. However do we see any demand for such business on the consultancy market? The answer is yes. The situation is paradoxical: when a client assigns a valuer to prepare a valuation with a specific value, he becomes a hostage of his own assignment which results in getting a valuation that is not trust worthy. In a more comprehensive sense, the client deals with adventurers and card sharks who easily stack cards for one client today and for another tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the Russian market faces such conclusions quite frequently. As a result, the market players do not have a clear understanding of the true value and benefits of dealing with open, proficient and professional advisors for their complicated and challenging business tasks. And this creates a serious problem. Is there any solution to that? Is it possible to bring these two parties who need each other but due to a number of reasons cannot come together? Such dialogue can be not just new words but a breakthrough for the local market. How can these parties recognize each others business targets and potential? Our project of Business Alliance IBA is designed to answer these questions.

We will create a completely new business platform that ensures unique opportunities for a productive dialogue between those parties who offer modern intellectual products for various businesses and other users. Inviting major Russian and western advisors, we have made this platform international. These companies can offer entrepreneurs from various economic sectors solutions that accumulate their vast experience, practice, and top-notch economic and managerial expertise. What's more, Business Alliance IBA is ready to bear reputational and financial responsibility for the advise that is offered by our recommended market advisors.

We see our mission as making IBA membership a synonym for quality and professional solvency for consulting companies and the guarantee of tranquility and confidence for those clients who address our members for consultancy advice.

We have already found our project attractive for a number of major western companies and institutions as well as companies from Russian regions that demonstrate their sincere interest in dealing with universal professional procedures and deeper integration. Our project is supported by rectors/presidents of higher schools of economics, finance and management.

We are open to any format of partnership and cooperation: from membership and associate membership to multilateral partnership agreements that comply with the scope of our mission and vision.

I am sure that the near future will recognize the IBA project as a tool for raising the overall standards of the Russian entrepreneurial market that will result in improving the image of Russia worldwide and creating a friendly environment for foreign investments allowing for further development and progress. We are looking forward to seeing you as our partners.
